Stainless steel 416
Stainless steel 416 is a martensitic steel alloy with added sulphur that gives it the highest machinability of all stainless steels. On the other hand, corrosion resistance, formability and weldability are limited. Type 416 steels are available in highly tempered, hardened or unhardened forms.
