I'm using HATCHBOX PLA 3D Printer Filament, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm, 1 kg Spool, 1.75 mm, Black. It snapped and about 2 inches of filament is now stuck in the extruder. I've tried pushing it out with a small screwdriver after heating it, but it did nothing. I've also tried doing that while running the extruder motor. Any ideas?
Something seems off. I'm getting very noticeable filament lines in my prints. Some parts of this model look a lot better than others as you can see. I have tried adjusting my temperature (195 Extruder, 60 Bed), speed, height (0.1), the works. I'm stumped. Has anyone had this issue before? I'm using a Monoprice select mini printer and Hatchbox PLA 1.75 filament. Please help me if you can.
Hey everyone, so I've been using Hatchbox ABS filament for a while now and I absolutely love it! But recently I bought some gold ABS from them and it prints fine, but after about a day of sitting around it starts to just fall apart. Cracks begin to show up and its just incredibly brittle to the point it just falls apart. Has anyone else experienced this or have any guesses as to what it could be?
Hello, I have a new Hatchbox Alpha that I just got today and when I try printing PETG at 240C Hotend and 100C Bed. Mid way through the print, the PETG would stop. I disassembled my hotend and saw the PETG stuck in the PTFE tube and its diameter was about 1.9 ish. The filament is 1.75, anyone got any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!
Let me start with a little background first. My son got into 3D printing in middle school. he would bring home some really cool items to show us. We got him a Printer for Christmas and after two months of helping him try to get it to work right we sent it back. A few months ago we bought him a different printer, a Hatchbox Alpha. he wants to print a few items that are big.  
I installed the E3D metal hot end on my Hatchbox Alpha. I also installed the (supposedly) screw in compatible thermister.  Using M303 E0 S200 C3 it should run a series of 3 heating cycles then give me an average of kP, kI, and kD....but the ONLY way I can get it to run multiple (3) cycles and return results is if I chance the value of C to "1"...????.....  
Can someone help me with calibrating my hatchbox alpha. I have been printing on it for a couple of weeks no problem buta coulpe days ago it began to lift at the edges showing what many call the bowl effect. Hatchbox support has been a bit rude to me telling me I do not understand basic geometry. Honestly Delta are not basic the geometry is quite complex.
Hi 3D Hubs!   I am brand new to the concept of 3D Printing and would like to know if anyone has thoughts on the two printers in the subject. I am planning to purchase one next week.   Hatchbox Alpha - Seems "better" on paper. - Fairly new device.   Orion - Has been around longer, larger community, a real website.   I would love to hear from folks who have experience with these two.
