Hi,
Any medical professional here who is working on producing 3d printed anatomical models for pre surgical planning in surgeries for Heart, Liver, Brain, Orthopaedic.
I would like to understand the follwoing:
How much these 3d printing amatomical helps the surgeons?
What form of 3d printed model makes it more convenient like Hard Plastic, Soft Gel structure might be used for actually performing surgeries?

Though I am not a medical professional, I could tell that 3D printed anatomical models are highly assistive for pre-surgical planning. These are created using a combo of MRI and CT scans of a structure and assist to study the effects of specimen chemical and their risks on the human body.
