Hello everyone!

It’s been awhile since I have posted here. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Zach. I’m the regional 3D Hubs Mayor for the Salt Lake City Community and I also own Utah’s very own 3D print shop Imagine That 3D.

Reasons for this post are a couple things- first off, it has been a few months since we held a meetup. I have some exciting meetups planned for next year, but would also like to hear from you- what events would you like to see happen and what subjects would you like to go over?

Now for the main reason that I’m here posting today. Last year at Imagine That 3D, we launched a one of a kind program. This is a program aimed at giving back to children in need. 3D printing can be used in many great and unique ways, so we launched a 3D Printed toy drive. By using 3D printing to provide toys to the less fortunate, we want to change the world for these children on Christmas day.

We are reaching out to the 3D Hubs community to help print toys for these children and help make the world a better place one print at a time. We have already printed hundreds of toys, but together let’s make it thousands. These toys are going to groups such as Toys for Tots, Big Brother Big Sister, Shriners Hospital and more.

The possibilities to bring smiles to these children’s faces are endless.

Ready to take the next step? Help us bring joy to these children by printing toys on your own 3D printer and dropping them off at our shop, making a donation or spreading the word about 3D Printed Christmas.
