Hi Sara. In my opinion, best option could be the FDM. It’s possble to combine materials that could’t be done with other technologies. What kind of shoes are you planning to print?. For High heels, PETG, reinforced NYLON, or PC, could be good options. If you need to print flexible shoes…best to try with TPU, Ninjaflex, filaflex or things like ngen flex (only two colours). As you can see…depending on your needs…there could be different options. Best regards.

Hi

this is great information,

i bought the filaflex material bcoz am interested in the filixible shoes,

now one last question,

how can i know which 3d printer is compatible with this material!?

Do u recommend brand name, or specific specification i should check!?

Thank u again

Hi again. Really…all the FDM printers are compatibles with Filaflex…but with some advises. One important thing is the extruder type…if the extruder. I use the Titan from e3d but there are lots of upgrades for the “standard” extruders for most of the machines at thingiverse…to help you to print with flex materials. If you want a machine to start, learn and practice with materials…start with a prusa i3, there are a lot of brands that offer this kind of machine. If you want to print with flexible material, be patient…it takes time…but looks good…lol. Best regards.
