I am very new to 3D printing and my aim is to use 3D printing to make patterns that I can use for casting bronze. I am having issues with surface finishing over the areas where support is being used and also warping even support structure is used.
I have attached some images in the hope that I can benefit from any responses.
Image 1: circular part, looks quite textured due to lines from filament, sub base not easy to remove?
Image 2: warping of flat part that was laid over support material?
Image 3: Bad ‘stringy’ finish over what was support layer?
Image 4: Using PLA and ABS gave same poor warping?
Can you post the STL for that file. I can’t tell what you are trying to do there. Also, more photos of the print would be extremely useful.
