I’m just starting to instal my new BCN3D Sigma. I tried to load the filament starting with the left extruder. It succeded but it was pretty slow. When came the time for the Right extruder, the filament just didn’t wan’t to get stuck in the motor to get pulled. I don’t wanna force the motor so what can I do?

Thanks,
Alex

There sould be a Screw somwhere near the feeder. the screw is typically inside a spring… Try adjusting the screw untill the feeder grabs Firmly but not tightly onto the Filament. If i Confused you send me some Pictures and i try to explain it better.

Let me know if you get it working.

If you’re talking about the screw needing an allen key on top of the block. I’ve tried to screw it and unscrew it but the result didn’t change a bit… Am I doing it on the right screw? Or…

Thanks for your help,
Alex

Can you give me a Picture of your printer so i can get a better view?

The screw is definitely too loose but it’s to show you.

Ok so this is a new one, never saw that feeder before. But i think the allen Key screw is there to hold the whole bracket with the bouden tube to the side of the stepper. If im correct there sould be another screw (maybe the indentation between Screw and Tube?) that presses the filament against the teeth of the feeder. Just have a watch for a screw that could possibly do this job and play around with it. If nothing of this works i would say contact the Support of the Vendor you bought it or the Factory itself, they´ll usually help pretty quick.

I hope i could help you out somewhat. If you have any other questions just drop them. You also could get me some more pictures and i´ll do my best to help.

I also got something wich is a complete alternative if it is just not working.

of course you need a pirnter first to print this but u said one extruder is working so there should be no problem.

Hope this you get it working with the standard feeders but if not… there is a way to get it fixed. not pretty but a way.

Hope i Could help.
