Hi there,

I’m currently trying to set up a Deltawasp 2040 for ceramic use but am struggling to get clay adhesion to the base plate on all of my models. I thought it might be the clay mix that is the issue, but I am able to get the same mix printing correctly with some models but not with others. Any help on how to create adhesion would be great.

Thanks

Hello SShaw,

1) about the fail prints: are you sure that the models have a flat surface and were laying properly on the bed?

2) one way to have a good adesion is to make by hand a clay disk and put it in the print area

3) when I print in LDM mode, I use a circular wood plate
4) as usual, the levelling of the plate is important: I feel good keeping very low space between the nozzle and the plate at the first

5) at last also the velocity affects the adesion of the first layer: keep it very low

Good luck and let me know!
