Hi Guys,

Whenever I try to print ceramic using DeltaWASP 4070 , it stops and I get a “change filament” error with a beeping noise, while I am using an LDM kit and there is no filament. I have followed the settings in the manual and videos regarding turning on the Clay Mode and readjusting the Z value as well. I have tried using cura to slice my model using the delta LDM configuration provided by WASP’s SD card.
When I use clay as filament, same thing happens with a louder noise.

Does anyone know what is the problem?

Hi,

I assume that you’ve already set the machine to LDM mode.

Because this machine is a FDM conversion, you have to put a piece of plastic filament into the little hole in the piece of hardware that appears to have no purpose - above the actual clay extruder.

In principal I have the machine working (in that it is operational) but bugger me if I can get it to 3d print anything in clay.

I think the machine is not fit for purpose, and even WASP have realised this and released the 40 100.
