My Creator Pro will no longer effectively extrude PLA. I have checked the extruder, cleaned the drive gear, replaced the tip (twice), replaced the PTFE tube (twice). The plastic stream is very weak and eventually stops even during filament loading at 230C.

If you push down on the filament it will extrude, but otherwise it fades quickly to zero extrusion. This only started happening two weeks ago after 5 months of very nice printing.

I own two creator Pro machines, so I swapped filament from the working machine to the problem machine - and the working machine had no issues and the problem machine would still not extrude - so it was not the filament.

I verified that the stepper motor is turning while it was partially disassembled.

I have only been using the right extruder, so I tried loading using the left extruder which has never been used to date. The left extruder exhibits the exact same issue. I can’t even use the filament loading utility to get a stream of PLA from the right or left extruder.

That seems to have eliminated the filament, the tip, the ptfe tube, the stepper motor or anything unique to the right extruder.

I am not sure what remains as the issue.
