I’ve been using my F306 printer only with PLA for over a year. I purchased PETG filament because like PLA, it doesn’t give off any fumes and supposedly it has a higher melting temperature which should prevent items from warping when shipped on extremely hot days.

I know that the F306 comes with process files for PETG filament in Simplify 3D and I know that PETG is picky with settings from what I’ve read. Is anybody out there using PETG, preferably on an F306 who can give me some pointers before I start experimenting with it. Just trying to avoid issues with clogged printheads, etc so I don’t experience downtimes and hours of maintenance. Thanks.

I just started printing PETG (Atomic Filament clear) on my F400 and so far the S3D profile provided by Fusion3 has worked well. My only issue is that the purge blob at the beginning of the print keeps getting stuck to the hot block.

Thanks for responding. That’s good news. I love my F306 and I imagine you’re loving your F400. I’ll try my first PETG prints next week.

Thanks again.
