Hey there! I have no display on my printer.
I’m unsure as to what I am doing wrong, but apparently it is something.

I’ve just gotten the printer together and cannot get it to do anything.

Thanks in advance.

It may depend on what board or display your using… I have an MKS base board , Either the LCD, cable or the board plugs are upside down… Try cutting the tabs off of one side of the cables and stick them in upside down.

I’m on a DLT600 with linear rails, mks base board, carbon tubes and magnetic effector. Its the same machine but larger.

When the plug is upside down, the LCD will beep every second or so, or just looks completely dead. When you unlplug a backward LCD, it will light up for a split second as it drains the reverse voltage. I found this out after purchasing a second LCD and lots or research on google groups… The 1st LCD never did work after that, I think mine was plugged in too long upside down and cooked a chip or the ramps board cooked my LCD when I first turned it on… The magic smoke escaped as soon as I powered it up… Thus I replaced the LCD and board. I assume you have the proper jumpers in place before you turned it on?
