I have a flashforge creator pro that I bought recently, and it had been producing really weirdly bad prints and I couldn’t understand why. When I bought a second spool of filament and loaded it in the right nozzle (I default to left) I discovered why: both nozzles are printing at the same time! This results in doubles of whatever I am printing, often overlapping each other. The problem is, that even when I print with only one filament loaded, it underextrudes to accommodate the other head (thus the bad print quality). I am using ff flashprint slicer software, but this problem persisted when I tried using mattercontroller (still sneakernetting using the sd card, the cable connection doesn’t seem to work). This leads me to believe the problem is with the printer itself, but I have no idea how I would go about diagnosing or fixing it. It has the sailfish firmware. Anyone else fix a similar problem? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
