Hi all, was gifted a prototype printer a year ago and everything was working perfectly. The pc I was using to slice and export with Cura and Pronterface corrupted and I’ve had to install mattercontrol to run the printer. Only problem is I’ve lost all the default settings and the printer goes nuts when I try to print. The z offset is always incorrect and the print speed and extrusion rate do not match up. Is there anone in the community with any advice on this? Also looking to print some models in PLA asap so will be glad to purchase from the person that helps! Thanks in advance

Hi Tommy, I have no hands on experience with it myself, but I believe matter control allows you to slice with cura which might allow you to reload your old settings if you know them. You may just have to recalibrate the whole printer to suit the new software or check to make sure it isn’t overriding the printers firmware.
