This all well and good for design departments but there is a need I wonder if anyone has thought of. Henry Ford made most of his money not on the Model T, but on the parts people needed to keep it going. In the hydro-electric world, we have machinery that is at least 45 years old and our oldest site breaking the century mark. There is alot of plastic, nylon, and ABS parts that could be supplied as well as low grade metal parts.

Are any of the printer manyufacturers contacting the power producers on this market>

Hi @Buckethead1, I wouldn’t know this, but I do know of this hydroelectric generator which has been made using 3D printed parts. Hopefully, it’s one of the many others out there :wink:
