I’m working on a project but it needs a little support in the middle in order to start the top… however when it comes to the end and taking the project of is fine but when i go to take the supports out it is a pain in you know where. Is there a trick or something i can do to try and print it without supports? ive seen some people who have awesome stuff n u dont need supports n i have no clue on how they do it.

i use 123 design and i have a robo 3d plus

thanks

Hey Cassie, if you’re able to share screenshots of your model (or the model itself even) here on Talk we might be able to give you some good advice/tips.

If you’re using Cura (or similar) for slicing and building the supports, you have little control over them. You could try a program like MeshMixer where you can control the supports better and build in supports that look more like trees than blocks. Then take the completed project (with supports) to your slicer program. I got much more reasonable supports this way.
