My company has had its Mark One for a while now and we have noticed some changes in our print quality. You would think It would get worse over time, but in fact it has gotten better. The printer has gone through a few firmware updates and the only changes with Nylon it prints with, as far as we can tell, has only gone down from the older 1000 cc rolls to the newer 800 cc rolls. (We buy our nylon from MF estore .) My question being, is it in our minds or has anyone else with this printer out there had the same experience? Looking to gauge the room in a way.

Better online software will always make a difference. They continuously improve the capabilities of thier Eiger software often. Also, clean nozzles, check nozzle clearances and adjust laser offsets when necessary and you’ll be a long and happy Markforged customer.

If you have never seen the finish and print of their product called Onyx, check it out. Hands down way better than nylon. The only caveat is Onyx is slightly dielectric 'cuz of the carbon fiber content in the material.

Happy printing
