Hi there,

I am looking to have a prototype drinking glass printed (10cmx8cmx8cm).

The finished product will be made of crystal, so I was hoping to have something printed to replicate the product.

I would require the print to be transparent, but I can’t afford the £500+ of fully transparent resin.

Has anyone got any experience with GlassHD (PETG) and if so, do you have any pictures or examples you could share?

Thanks in advance, Andy.

Any 3d print on a fdm printer wont be perfectly clear.

Thanks for your reply.

I appreciate that, I’m not expecting it to be completely clear, but more just looking for an example of how transparent it actually is.

i.e. Can you see liquid through it, can you see shadows from shapes within etc.

Andy.

Check this out. This is tglase and a coating after print. But transparency could also be effected by how thick it is. In this example its quite thin
