We’ve had the opportunity to embed Sketchfab and YouTube links here on Talk for a while now , but it’s time to bring it to the next level!

You are now able to embed YouTube links on the order comments , which means that you’ll be able to set up a live-stream service to your customer directly on 3D Hubs. This will allow the customer to be updated on the status of the print automatically and will provide an awesome customer experience.

Simply go over to : youtube.com/my_live_events, enable live streaming and paste the link into the order comment!

Next up we need a guide on how to.stream via Youtube with an USB Webcam and a raspberry pi (+Internet connection). This is a very nice feature, but I think not everyone wants to determine a PC just for streaming purpose. Maybe anyone can do such guide. Cheers, Marius Breuer

Awesome. This sounds like an @emanuele3d to me

It would indeed be very nice, especially if plug’n’play, dead simple to setup and compatible with a wide set of webcams.
There is very little limit of what you can do with a Pi these days.

I’d love to see a tutorial on this as well! Go Emanuele!

Missed this. Nice idea.

I stream to people using Octoprint and a webcam. When you right click on the feed in your Octoprint you can get the direct stream link to send them. Just need to make sure you customize the stream address every time.
