I purchased and received a CTC Duplicater 4 Dual a week ago and it was working great nail I tried to upload Replicator G in the machine. I was using Autodesk Fusion 360 to design and print my drawings. That program let me design parts and copy them in a 3D “make” prompt which worked really well. The only problem with the Autodesk program was that it did not recognize my printer or any other dual extruder.

My problem is, since I uploaded the Replicator G into my printer, it seems that it is frozen. The LED screen shows to horizontal bars and the buttons don’t work. The only thing it does is the build plate gets hot. I tried to make a test print off of Replicator, it seems like it’s going to print, then fails before it begins.

I have hit the reset button in the rear of the machine, I’ve unplugged it, nothing seems to work.

Is there anything I can do to bring it back to the factory settings? I would rather have it able to print from Autodesk than not print at all.

Thanks, your help would be much appreciated.

Seems like you need to updated the firmware for your printer.

It looks like now the printer ran into a bug with replicator g. If you install new firmware like sailfish this should fix your problems.

Sounds like you let RepG flash the firmware and if so then that probably killed it. You may need to contact the seller or google how to flash that printer.

As far as Fusion goes it is independent of the printer. It will produce a file you will then need to send to a slicer. Fusion does not interact with the printer.
