Hey guys,

I am looking for an utopic Slicer (online or offline) that’s running on Ubuntu and it’s able to manage different printer (actually I am working with: Zotrax, Craftbot, 3DKreator, DeeGreen, Sigma BCN3D and BeeTheFirst). First of all, does a similar program exist? If yes, do you have any suggestion or reference about where I can find it?

Cheers,

Federico

Hello,

You can use

  • Cura: Free, easy to use and can be installed in Ubuntu.
  • Simplify3D: 149$ license, with lots of parameters to tune and the support structures that it creates are just awsome.

Best!

Hey @Wasp3D,

First of all, thanks for your answer, secondly:

  • Cura: I have already installed it but actually it’s just working with 3DKreator, all the other machine are not able to read the standard file that Cura is generating. Should I change something in the setting in order to be able to use Cura for different machines?
  • Simplify3D: I will take a look to their website
