I work as a 3d CAD designer in a company, and I have suggested to my manager that having 3D printed prototypes is better to customers than showing them the 3D CAD model on a screen. The manager wasn’t excited but she agreed and gave me a low budget and I used it to get two Creality cr-10s printers. The customers have really liked seeing the models in real life instead of cad and it helped the business. And the two printers are now working almost 24/7 to make prototypes. So the manager saw an ad for an SLA printer and she liked it and told me if I find affordable resin then we’ll buy one under 5k (I had the Uniz Slash in mind) but honestly I barely have any knowledge about SLA and resin, so I have some questions and I thought someone here might help.

First of all, Resin isn’t brand specific, right? I mean do I have to get the resin from the brand of the 3D printer itself?

And the second thing was, what’s the most affordable quality resin that you bought? and how much was it?

And the last thing, if I print a piece with material volume of 200 ml then that would take 200 ml of resin, or is that not the case for some reason?

Sorry if I’m not clear or if I put unnecessary details. And like I said I don’t know much about SLA so any help or tips would be appreciated, thank you.
