What an awesome way to protect your filament and still have it look good. Nice! Looks like something for our Printlab, right? @Mercedes @jtjnyc @victorp

Haha, this is good

Ahahha, AWESOME idea. Sooo cute!
Gotta make one!!

there is a ironly to 3d printing a case for your 3d printer filament, what’s next 3d printed 3d printer printers (ie a 3d printed printer FOR 3d printers)

Haha, that’s actually old and is exactly what got desktop printing started in the first place --> RepRap

Actually I was talking one more level of abstraction 3D printing the machines that print 3D printers

Great design. As long as there’s room for desiccant in there, I think it will be good for me. Always a problem when you live in a place with high humidity.

Now this is something else! Does it take long to print it? Is it an easy print?

Look nice.

Only problem for me - I have something like 25 spools so it would be a bit much to store these in this way.

Still, VERY cool looking

The Reprap started out with that aim or as mush as possible.

Reprap: A low cost open source rapid prototyping system that is capable of producing its own parts and can therefore be replicated easily.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RepRap_Project
