printed the fidget spinner from thingiverse and the top and bottom are grid rather than solid. It’s obvious I don’t understand fill. The model has a solid top over the spinner arms but that ends up being gridded. Support fill was 15% and solid top fill off. Did not select solid top fill because was afraid it would cover the entire top of the fidget spinner including the bearings.

Top/bottom layers will only cover the portions of the model. An example is the letter O, if you print this with 2 top/bottom layers it will not fill in the center of the letter.

Also you could also just reprint your part with top/bottom layers and see the difference
