Hi, i am working with Objet30Pro, what kind of questions do you have?

My experience is, that printed models are very expensive  and you loose a lot of material when change.

But the print quality is awesome!

My biggest problem is the cleaning of the parts, it is so time consuming.

But it is true whit objet you have the best quality.

It’s good to see Objet owners around here  How about sharing some of your prints? Let’s start a show’n’tell on various models with tips on how to achieve them? what do you guys think?

Hello! We have an Objet 30 here at CORE Consulting and do all of our prototyping on it. Love the quality of the prints!

we have a 260V, we’ve mostly done smaller stuff, but I’ve always liked this part

you are perfectly right!!!

Here are some fun ones!

And don’t you think that Objet Studio calculates too much model?

Catalistex for Dimension, or volume calculated from cad, are always less than model calculated from objet studio…!!!

Yes we are working with Objet 30 Prime, if you have any question please contact us.

We are specialized in cleaning Objet 3DPrints, including inner nano tubes and chambers.

We have a Objet30 Pro. had some challenges with ours initially…but have it working good now…makes awesome models. The clear material capabilities was the main reason for selecting this machine.

We are still going through some growing pains with ours. Especially when we are printing Glossy on a part… Some of the parts look like a candle was placed near a heat source. Outside of that and the excessive waste we like our machine

Thank you for so many responses. Don’t take me wrong we love our Objet30, the prints are great, however we have some doubts about how forthcoming Stratasys is about problems, when we found them. We are always getting responses, “this is the first time” , “We never heard about it”, or “it is probably a design problem”. Until now we did trust them (maybe naively) until we found, here in Atlanta, another user with similar problems, who was also told “it never happened before…” This is why we would like to start cataloging all problems and analyze them to our benefits to understand how many are truly printing problems and how many cause by us, operators. If we will collect more problems, I would like to create repository and use it as a teaching and problem resolution Data Base available to every one on 3D Hub. Please let me know if you would support such idea by sharing good and bad stories with all of us.

Not sure how much I can contribute to the conversation, but so far my Objet30 is my most popular (and reliable) printer on my hub.

Since a few months do I have an Objet 30 Pro.

It’s a great printer with perfect results, but just printing for the fun is almost not possible, because the printing material is so expensive. If I buy directly from Stratasys, do I pay 275€/kg. Is it possible to buy these materials from another brand?

(It’s one of the reasons that I bought a Leapfrog Xeed - received it on Friday).

What’s the best way after removing the support, to manipulate the surface?

good day ,

i suggest you do a UV calibration and weight test …

John if you have access to a sand or glass bead blaster, it provides a nice matte uniform surface. Also try it after you’ve soaked the prints in NaOH for a couple hours then use a pressure washer or the wash station Stratasys sells to remove hard to reach support. The dust from the blaster will clump the support making it easier to remove. The 30Pro is a great industrial desktop printer but normally is not an affordable option for the consumer due to the material pricing. Closed source vs. open source material but the day is coming where Stratasys won’t have that luxury
