Hello,

I’ve just splurged on an ANYCUBIC Photon DLP printer. One of the things I’ve read about it is that the resin can be a bit smelly. As such, to avoid upsetting “the boss”, the number of places I could put it in the house is limited. We have one room that is close to a shower, and one room that has a boiler furnace and servers in it keeping the room temperature somewhat elevated. Are either of these things major concerns for DLP resins? I understand with FDM printing, the filament can be quite sensitive to humidity, but the only thing I’ve been able to find as a risk factor for UV resins is inadvertent exposure to UV light.

What are the factors to consider when finding a home for a DLP printer?

Thanks!
