My Wanhao Duplicator i3 has started jamming early in the print. The filament is wrapped around the driver gear in a gnarled mess. Tried 3 different types of filaments and the same issue happens with every print. Pic is attached. Anyone have a similar issue? Know the cause/fix? Thanks.

Need more info. Slicer, temps, speeds, filament type etc. Could have a partial clog. Also trying to print to fast for the temp. Aggressive retraction settings for a smaller part could cause a clog then it jams. Also the tension on the idler may not be enough.

The idler tension may be too high. I had this and it was squashing the filament into a ribbon that bent very easily. Getting the tension right will keep the filament rounder and easier to push through the nozzle. Does the filament wrapped around the gear look flattened or still round?
