Hi all,

Just a heads up that both of my Cubicons have developed issues in the last few weeks, one the ribbon cable to the print head has an faulty wire and drops temp and the lights flicker on and off. The other won’t maintain temp at the 240oC mark, it slowly drops to 220.

The warning is around after sales support - there is none from the Korean manufacturer. I have been pushing the sales rep here but the manufacture is not responding or providing any parts etc.

My advice is that unless you are happy paying a premium price for a machine that won’t last a year without issues and comes with no support, is avoid Cubicon until they work out they need to support their machines.

Hi Kerry…

Thanks for your reviews that I have been reading… I was looking at the cubicon as a second machine in the office next to the UP box I already have,… Sounds like the Cubicon has the same reliability issues as the UP box (Been having lots of issues now with the UP box printer!)

Will be steering clear - need something reliable, and can print out ABS with little warping.

I have had the same.problem, I was trying to get a new nozzle and basically they just keep telling that nothing on the removable extruder was serviceable by users and to go back to iMakr. They also told me I should have a different extruder for each type of filament. Bloody madness! Any idiot can unscrew a nozzle. So are we doomed to always print at 0.4 mm?
