Just to confirm, French people are excluded from the contest, right?

Eligibility. THE CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO NATURAL PERSONS WHO, AT THE TIME OF ENTRY, ARE REGISTERED MEMBERS OF THE SITE, WHO ARE AT LEAST THIRTEEN (13) YEARS OLD (FIFTEEN [15] YEARS OLD FOR RESIDENTS OF NORWAY AND EIGHTEEN [18] YEARS OLD FOR RESIDENTS OF GERMANY), AND ARE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES (INCLUDING THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA BUT EXCLUDING PUERTO RICO), CANADA (EXCLUDING THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC, CANADA), UNITED KINGDOM, AUSTRALIA, BELGIUM, CHINA, THE NETHERLANDS, COLOMBIA, DENMARK, GERMANY, INDIA, NORWAY, NEW ZEALAND OR SWITZERLAND.

Hi Agustin! Legally yes (laws doesn’t facilitate contest in some countries…), but luckily there is a loophole. If the prize can be shipped to an eligible country (you have a shipping address there, friends, family or there are some online services for this etc.) then you can enter.

Last resort we’ll also try to help out, so I’d still encourage you to submit any projects you have!

Where do we submit the entries? Do we just post here on this thread?

Nope, you have to post it on Instructables and enter the contest there.

I’m sorry, what?

"(laws doesn’t facilitate contest in some countries…), but luckily there is a loophole. "

I am in Paris.

“If the prize can be shipped to an eligible country (you have a shipping address there, friends, family or there are some online services for this etc.)”

I should know for sure.

“(INCLUDING THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA BUT EXCLUDING PUERTO RICO), CANADA (EXCLUDING THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC, CANADA), UNITED KINGDOM, AUSTRALIA, BELGIUM, CHINA, THE NETHERLANDS, COLOMBIA, DENMARK, GERMANY, INDIA, NORWAY, NEW ZEALAND OR SWITZERLAND.”

Is it true, France is not included?

Technically, France is not included due to local laws. But if you can find a way to get the prize shipped to any of the countries above (you have a shipping address there, friends, family or there are some online services for this etc.), then it’s all good. In the end we can also help out.

I’d encourage you to enter the contest, and if it comes to the delivery of prizes, we’ll figure it out.

Are there just 3 winners, or are there multiple winners in each category?

My instructable - for a filament spool rack.

STLs on the instructable and at thingiverse:

Multiple winners in each category, as I understood anyway! Entrants are in with a chance of winning one of 15 printers, 3DHubs vouchers and instructables goodies.

Theres been so many entries it would be great to see more 3DPrinting prizes: a few ideas would be exciting filaments, slicing software, build surfaces, finishing tools, gadgets, books, maybe autographed bits and peices from key 3DPrinting people - reprap youtubers etc!

My instructable : http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printable-Nerf-Style-Gauntlet-Falconer-MK-II/

All details, wiring, code and links to relevant media and files

Found a link to the winners list for a previous instructables/3DHubs contest (possibly 2015)

http://www.instructables.com/contest/3dprintingcontestxxl/

and the matching 3DHubs talk post:

Haha this would be awesome to join, unfortunately I cannot afford my first 3d printer to try and win another 3d printer. Good luck to all contestants!

There’s this website 3dhubs.com, you should check it out

Not to mention that there is a category for “Best Instructable”. This could be about designing something for 3D Printing. No actual printing required. Best type of contest - it can be entered by people with no ready access to a printer. (and by people with access to a printer as well - or printed via a hub.)

Good Luck all. My entry is underway…

I’m a finalist and honestly I’m starting to hallucinate the sound of an email entering my inbox! So apprehensive (/•0•\)

Update for all wondering: judging continues tomorrow and should get the results on Monday!

Good luck

dumb question: which monday?

Here’s a copy of what I received last thursday:

"Date: Jul 14, 2016. 9:01 AM
Subject: Judging for the 3D Printing Contest Extended!

Hi, Sorry for the late message. Judging for the 3D Printing Contest was extended through tomorrow(Friday). Winners will be announced on Monday. Good Luck! Nicole"

which means it it should have been last Monday (yesterday). I even allowed time for the time zone difference but it looks like they overran that deadline again!
