Hi 3d Hubs team,

What about a google maps itinerary integration on the customer’s order page? Let’s say that a customer make an order at a hub, the hub print it and when it is available for pickup, the customer can see the itinerary to the hub by car or by feet or by public transportation. This would make the experience smoother for the customer, right? What do you think about it?

That does sound like a great idea for the people who are using pick-up as an option @N1C0 @Brian

It might become a little confusing if the pickup location is moved to somewhere else though. I’ll make sure to bring it up and discuss it. Thanks

I also like the idea of integrating maps and tracking numbers so you cover both pickups and shipping. When an order is marked as shipped you enter a tracking number and the customer sees tracking information when a print is marked ready for pickup the hub enters the pickup address and the customer sees a map/itinerary.

Hey @N1C0, thanks for sharing this! We’re currently working on integrated delivery system which will allow Hubs to set where they ship, how quickly and at what price. The delivery system might also be an opportunity to improve the pick-up system, what you’re describing sounds a lot like what local food delivery companies are doing (at least here in Amsterdam). It would also be very nice to know when the Hub is available for pick-up, so thanks for sharing - we’ll keep it in mind for sure!
