Im a scale modeler in both auto and military medium.The better the detail the more realistic the model.I would like to print my own car bodies and accessories.My first question is is it possible to print the bodies and which format and printer should I be looking at. Thanks for your time

Cost will be a big factor. Plus material you want to use etc. Here are a few suggestions that I have experience with. There are plenty of others that are good also.

QIDI X-one is a solid entry level single extruder with a heated bed.

QIDI Tech-1 and Flashforge Creator Pro and solid dual extruder machines.

with enclosed cabinets.

Original Prusa i3 MK2 is an alternative that make some really great prints.
