I’m on the verge of purchasing a 3D printer and I have encountered some problems. It seems that the work or production area of most AIO 3D printer/scanners are relatively small (for my needs at least). Ideally I would like a high quality printer that can produce objects 300m (wide) x 300m (deep) x 400M (high) or have manufacturing capabilities close to that range. Needless to say, no AIO printers have that capacity (for home use) and have roughly half of those measurements though SOME stand alone 3D printers can produce close to them. My question is this: Are there any standard 3D printers out there with either USB inputs or WIFI capabilities (with the print size capacities I’ve described) that I could attach a 3D scanner and/or input a 3D scanner’s data real time? I guess I’m trying to create an amalgam of the two devices and wonder if it is feasible OR is there a better way to do it? Inquiring minds want to know.
