CTC duel Extruder layer Cooling

So, having been printing with my CTC for a while now, it was pointed out that the main issue with my prints was caused by the lack of layer cooling, I have no idea how I would go about adding the fan, with very little experience with soldering, and a nervous disposition when the thought of opening the machine to add wires and other components, I was wondering what the easiest way is to add an active layer cooling fan to my machine? Im guessing its as easy as getting a battery powered fan and simply placing it targetting the print? XD

Any advice would be greatly apprecieted!!

thanks guys

Luke

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:537918   This is the fan duct I use. and i have a fan wired straght to the power of the extruder fan with a toggle switch. you dont even have to open the printer at all. you will have to cut a couple wires though. have been using this method for over a year without issue.

you could even use a desk fan. I have done that.

That's what I'm using for now and it seems to completely solve my issue, so I think for now I'll stick with it, until I have some better knowledge on the machinery
