Hello From the New York City 3D Hubs Office!

Hi Community Friends,

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

I'm Simon - the newest team member of 3D Hubs, and I'm operating out of the company's NYC office overlooking the beautiful Madison Square Park.

I come from an industrial design background and have worked on everything from basketball shoes to garden trimmers and toys to guitar pedals.

Since I've always enjoyed the storytelling aspect of the design process, I naturally found my way over to writing about design just as much (if not more) than I was designing.  Flash-forward to today, and that's what brought me to 3D Hubs - to tell the story behind the designs.

As a part of my role on the 3D Hubs team, I want to help creators like you tell your stories - whether it's a small personal project or a larger Kickstarter campaign - and make sure that they get heard.

Ultimately, while we can all agree that 3D printing and the concept of distributed manufacturing are pretty dang cool, it's the creators like you who are helping to show the world that it's possible.

I'll be on the lookout for cool and interesting projects that you're all doing to help with telling this message.  If there's something that you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

In the meantime, happy creating.

Welcome to the most awesome team!

We're really glad to have you on the team Simon!
