Which filaments need a heated bed?

Hi,

I am planning on buying a bq hephestos 2 printer but it doesn't have a heated bed. I know that PLA can be printed without a heated bed. Can I print other materials like PETG, flexible TPE and TPU. I'm not planning on printing ABS and HIPS.

Hi, you can also buy the Hephestos 2 with heated bed!! I use one with al kind of materials from strength properties (reinforced filaments) to very flexibel (Filaflex 82A shore). The extruder of bq is extremely good die to the double drive gear

The problem is that if I buy extra heated bed the printer is out of my budget. I read that it has a really good extruded that prints flexible really smooth, but I would like to sometimes print PETG too.

What is your budget if I might ask?

in the 1k euro range. The extra heated bed would be 200eur more. I just actually checked and hephestos 2 have disappeared from all my country's online shops, so it`s not an option anymore. I will buy flashforge dreamer/creator pro or if I decide to spend those 200 more I can get craftbot 2

I don't understand you. Are you looking for a printer or not? What do you mean with  'your situation". This guys has contacts within BQ all over, but good luck with finding your printer.
