 before application for a patetend the model isn't shown in public by you. 3dprinting can enhace the further developement of your design/invention, lead time decreases.  If you want something to be printed by a thrith party alsways do that with signing an NDA . a finalized product can be tested on different  levels functionality, durability and last but not least productionpricing,

 sometimes  if you import to stl in sketch you have to make sure all components and group are closed, else  you loose some in the stl!

Hi 

Lots of things can happen if you design in sketchup ot other CAD software which influences the quality of the priing . Such as non manifold edges, flipped suface orientation, duplicate triangels,openspaces amd

flipped traingle. Go to  sketchup extension warehouse( under window , and download a solid inspector that can check your model before transforming it into .STL file. IF  its ok your print will be ok.

 Don't know this printer, but!!!!

Try to slice the model with "randon starting points" this will solve your problem
