Selling two spools of Proto-Pasta HTPLA.  High Five Blue (originally $30) and Matte Fiber Black (originally $40).  I would think there's probably 3/4 or more of each spool remaining.  Willing to sell them for $20 each or best offer and I'll ship for free USPS Priority anywhere in the US.

If you want new materials added you need to fill out this form and attach a data sheet, apparently that's the only way 3D Hubs will accept new materials now.  https://3dhubs.typeform.com/to/KkTMZK

They are supposed to tell you when the material you requested has been added to the system but they failed to do so on two materials I had requested and were later added.  Not sure why but it takes a least a couple weeks after you make the request for the material to be added.

Yeah I'll second the vote for PETG.  I have been printing it for the past couple months instead of ABS and am very happy with the results I get.

I've had problems on my i3 MK2 where terminal block (the part where the bed plugs into the main board) for my heatbed basically melts and ultimately fails and I have to replace it.  I would guess that that could happen to the extruder terminal block too.  It doesn't seem like that's your problem but maybe something to check.

I use kapton tape on my printer bed to keep ABS down and prevent it from warping but as some of you might know kapton tape it pretty difficult to put down well.  So I end up with air bubbles under the tape that turn into 'dents' on the face down side of the print.  I wondering if any of you all have figured out a better way to put down kapton tape to minimize this? Thanks!

I have received several orders where the customer somehow submits the instant order without payment (so it sits there as an ‘accepted order’ waiting for payment to start printing)  It was my understanding that a customer could not submit an instant order without providing payment info.  This also leads to a weird middle state of the order where it’s sitting in my queue yet I don’t receive notifica

sometimes I don't get the full address until after I say that the order is ready for shipping but once I click that it's always fully there.

I also only ship with insurance and in the several times USPS has lost orders I have only waited a few days before shipping new parts to the customer.  In my opinion if the customer is waiting a longer time than the shipping time I quoted on my hub then it's my responsibility to get them new parts asap (for example for USPS it's something like two weeks before they decide the shipment is lost and that's just way too long for the customer to wait).  Luckily when this has happened in the past the orders have been relatively small.   I'll add my pricing is set up so I can print and ship again if necessary and still make a small profit or at least break even.

I've tried making insurance claims with USPS and they didn't like the screenshot of the order that I sent them as proof of the value of the items shipped so I never ended up getting money back from them.  I would think if something is lost you want to be very careful with presenting as much detail when making a claim to the shipping company.

Two biggest changes I have noticed are an improved layout/User Interface and on my printer, Prusa i3 MK2, it heats the printer before leveling the bed whereas in 2.7 it leveled the bed as it was heating.  Like keebie81 said they list all the updates on their website.

I used 1 inch thick polystyrene from Home Depot (like this) and then added a plexiglass window. At least for me it makes printing filaments like ABS a ton easier, I can get it up to 160 degrees F in there no problem and have installed a fan and duct for drawing out fumes.  I also installed LED light strips for great lighting (gets pretty dark in there with the door on) and acoustic panels in attempt to reduce noise.  Maybe not exactly what you're looking to do but acrylic/plexiglass can get expensive quickly so this has so far been a great alternative for me.
