3 weeks 1 day ago - Commented on Injecting Honeycombs into SLA/SLS printed parts

There actually was a great research paper done that documented various patters of infill with an epoxy resin.  They used a syringe to inject the fluid into the voids. I can't seem to find the paper right now though.  I will keep looking and let you know if I find it. But to answer your question this can be a very effective method for strengthening 3d printed parts.  I have heard of vacuum impregnation of sls parts to keep them fluid tight under pressure.

I was selling a Fortus 400 recently and 3dhubs here proved by far the best place to get interested buyers.  So I think you find the right place.  Btw we are a Stratasy dealer so if you are in the nyc area I'd be happy to point you in the direction of a few companies who might be interested. I you want to send me an email yyou can reach me at jims@cimquest-inc.com.  good luck!

I would suggest contacting your reseller.  Even if you are off maintenance they should help you at least hone in on your options and likely reasons for the issue.  If you are in NJ, NY, CT or PA please contact me directly and I will have a technician call / email you (free of charge) to help you determine what happened.  You can reach me at jims@cimquest-inc.com

You could try looking on grabcad.com.  There are a lot of well designed printable models on there.  Trying searching based on multiple terms too.

Greg, thanks for the information! Would you say it is comparable or superior to a common fdm like Ultimaker? I means in terms of reliability and minimizing areas of failure. I'm assuming the first series of Roboze are not capable of the high temp?

Thanks again,

Jim

I have seen a lot of information floating around about this company and from the looks of it they have some exciting abilities.  However I have not had the chance to talk with anyone who has actually used the machines.  Does anyone out there have direct feedback on the Roboze printers?   Thanks,   Jim
