I totally understand

I got on taz's website. I seen you could get a taz 4 for $1,000

I'm thinking about getting one for home now... lol

I would highly recommend the FormLabs Form 2 for your SLA printer

I realize it was more than you said but I have a buddy that has the LulzBot TAZ 5 and loves it!

Personally I started with a Raise 3D N2 Plus which is a FDM machine then later I bought a FormLabs Form 2 (SLA)... Personally I wouldn't have changed a thing

They are similar but completely different at the same time but wouldn't have changed a thing... How small are the features on the stuff you will be printing?

For example my FDM printer runs on 1.75mm fialment with a .4mm nozzle

I have a Raise 3D N2 Plus and to my knowledge it has the largest build platform out there

X = 12"

Y = 12"

Z = 24"

That's not to say there isn't one bigger out there in the prosumer market but the only one I know off hand

The people out there that have done the Raise 3D N2 Plus with Bondtech Extruder Upgrade on your printer.   is it worth the $200.00 to upgrade your extruder? I know they state with the weight and anti-slip its worth it but I'm curious what other people say   I primarly print ABS and PLA but I may print Ninjaflex in the future. Will it make it easier?

Does anyone have any experience with steel 3D printers other than the MarkForged Metal X?   I'm just starting to research steel 3D printers and not sure the ones worth looking at

I went back and fourth FOREVER between the Ultimaker 3 extended, Raise 3D, and the Fusion F400.

I ended up with the Raise and have been very happy! There some qualities that the Ultimaker has that I wish Raise had though for sure

Has anyone had any dealings with the EVO Additive Manufacturing Center?   I'm curious about the steel it can print: The current material tested with the EVO is Ultrafuse 316LX by BASF. The filament is a 90% 316 stainless steel and is designed for use with the same debinding and sintering processes used in traditional metal injection molding.
