I am not in Express checkout and most of my orders are repeat customers, I get ~1 new person ordering a month. I get 2.307 orders per week  since November 20th (less than 3 since some non-US countries use a . instead of a , and I wish to be clear). :-)

The Tiko's wireless printing worked fine. (Even from a phone the interface worked well)

Have you tried searching for 3D scanning under "hub specialities" or selecting that service under Express Checkout?

You need to connect to the Tiko's wifi on the printer then go to print.tiko in a browser. The printer itself hosts the website/slicer/app.

Looks easier to use calipers/micrometer and draw it in some CAD software.

I thought only the US was involved with the Express Checkout system? (Or should I be welcoming Ontario as the 51st state?) You can submit your changes/bugs/requests via the link at the bottom of the page "Submit Ideas".

My suggestion for correcting these issues is to simply raise your prices to account for orders that would eat profit margin as a temporary solution until the issues for print volume to shipping volume calculations are added as part of Express Checkout.

I only get orders from repeat customers since I am not in Express Checkout, and all of them ask why I bother using the site and would rather deal with direct quoting since getting to my hub is apparently bothersome to most. With repeat customers, you get people that know what size their items are and select the shipping properly. Most have attempted to use the Express Checkout system but have aborted the transactions due to unusual hub locations, or random pricing. What percentage of your Express orders have some sort of issue (shipping or otherwise)?

1 month 2 days ago - Commented on Why reviews mention that the print quality of the Lulzbot Taz 6 is excellent?

We have a Taz 4, Taz 5, Taz 6, uPrint, Ultimaker2, Monoprice, Creality, etc. in the Makerspace. If you use the correct settings for the filament, the Taz in any of the versions I listed has excellent print quality.  Most often quality depends on settings and filament selection. In the beginning I used the Lulzbot profiles to print, but have since modified all of them depending on material, and even color.

Has FDM and SLA been halted even in under-served localities because Express Checkout stretches the "local" aspect to be more "regional" instead? (At least for the US where Express Checkout applies)

25 years of being a maker, before the term even existed as a 'thing'. Quite healthy. I'm the guy in the Makerspace wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and holding a brush to apply stain, varnish, etc. I'm also the guy that looks at you weird when you have a full Tyvek jumpsuit, respirator, and nitrile gloves when applying water based polycrylic. You are probably doing more damage to your body by inducing stress thinking about a small number of the things that will kill you, when it is technically everything. What are you doing regarding the offgassing of nearly every item you bring in to your house? What about all of the mysterious dust you breathe on a daily basis? Heck, most people get more harmful particulates from their Teflon pans degrading. I do avoid eating the filaments and resin though, it tastes funny.

My father did as much or more than me, and is still kicking. Besides, I'm 3D printing and releasing these toxins in the air, so chances are you are breathing it from someone else generating it somewhere. :-)
