Hi there! How can I add the desired thickness to it?

I tried to print this model and the walls are too thin making the model be printed with small holes.

I used meshmixer and blender to add some thickness but with no success, I guess I'm not skilled enough.

Thanks!

Hi Daniel, really appreciate what you did here, thank you!

Can I ask from you to keep the rectangle (marked in Red) and also to keep the angles on the sides (marked in Green)?

Many thanks!

Hi folks,   So I'm trying to print this box, however when I print it there are triangles on the top layers that I just don't want to see, and I have no idea how to fix it.    Here is an example of it in Cura:   And printed:   Does anyone know how can this be fixed? (I attached the .stl file - box.stl)

I'm not quite sure what's going on here. When I was at work I played with Meshmixer, following this guide:

I was able to add thickness to the walls of the box.stl, the pictures I added in the below post can show that I ended up with a printable file. However, I'm not able to replicate this anymore, and I don't know why.

Would you kindly guide me on what's the best way to add thickness to walls of a .stl file, especially the one I want to print?

Many thanks.

Well, I can't thank you enough. I added thickness to the file and it seems good now.

I really hope that the printing process will go through successfully without any issues.

Here's a preview of the fixed model.

Thank you, I really appreciate your fix and tips!

I tried to preview the fixed file and I'm not sure what to expect from the printing.

It seems like there are parts that won't be printed (they are transparent), am I correct?

A preview from Cura and Simplify3D attached.
