HI everyone !

As 3D Hubs’ partner since the early days, at 3D Slash we thaugh it would be cool to share some news.

3D Slash is encouraging initiatives that bring 3D printing technologies to kids. So next week we will be thrilled to launch the first one week long workshop in Paris for K10+ kids! The goal is to make 12 kids create their first own object. To do so we will inspire them with nice projects such as candy dispensers, catapults, and more, and give them all the design and printing skills they need.

For those who will be in Paris feel free to show up between 9:30 and 12:30am from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd at MagicMakers, 153 rue de la Croix Nivert, Paris, France.

And what is all the more awesome is that they will be able to benefit from 3D Hubs’ network to print from home (we will not do every print for them thank god!). We are discovering the HD features, and we can’t help thinking about what power it will give kids when colors will be available: make a part and color it with 3D Slash, and get it printed in full colors…! That just rocks!

Feel free to share the news on networks !

Best !

Great idea guys! That’s exactly what we need in Paris. I’m sure that kids will be quick to grasp the potential of 3d printing.

Hey there !

The class went really well ! We are actually really impressed by what kids did.

Now there is a second edition going on this week. Afterward we will make a synthesis of the curriculum and projects done, and share it with the community to help spreading this kind of workshops.

Below is an extract of the pictures and projects realized.
