Hi there- can anyone tell me, if you have a nylon or polypropylene 3d printed in a certain shape, would it have the same qualities of flexibility, tensile strength etc if the same shape was injection molded with the same nylon or polypropylene? Many thanks for your help

If you print a part at 100% infill, it should have at most about 75 to 80 percent of the strength of an injection molded part, depending on the orientation it is printed and tested in. It may have as little as 10% in other orientations. 3D printed materials are also optimized for printing and may have different strengths than injection molding materials.

I’ve been printing with nylon 6 copolymer. I agree with your reply. Changes in the time needed to print a layer can change the strength at that point too.
