Hi I received my dreamer last week and I’m not able to get a print good as the finder and the Creator Pro. I drop down the extrusion ratio to 80% and even under extrusion I have the same problem. Can it be the motor current setting in the slicer program?? Printing at 0.2mm at 60mm/sec and 25mm/sec for outlines Thanks for your help

Hi @Filaments3dQc to be honest, that looks pretty good to me at 200 microns, certainly nothing I’d lose sleep over. 60mm/s is maybe a little fast - in my FF Pro when I want top quality I tend to go down to 30mm/s. How’s your filament? Is it high quality and has it been kept dry? I can see what looks possibly like small variations in extrusion that might be down to a varying width in the filament itself.

If by “extrusion ratio” you’re referring to the extrusion rate (sorry, it might be called something else in your software) 80% seems terribly low; it’s rare I go below 98% and only with filaments I know are not to spec (which I’m gradually removing from my stock).

What slicer are you using?

Hi thanks for your reply. I found the problem. One belt on the y axis was a bit loose. Now the printer works like a charm and the prints don’t have any variation on the outlines. Very very clean print just like the finder and the creator pro.
