What other filaments people have tried and were successful besides the standard ABS that comes with the printer. Thanks!

I sell filament and use it in my Cubicon. I’ve heard from others that most filaments work in the Cubicon singles without any problems.

I can’t think of any filament that wouldn’t work. I use all types of ABS and PLA. Various flexible materials and Polycarbonate.

Hiya

I used Hatchbox and rigid.ink. They don’t fit into the printer but I just used a separate stand and it’s all good.

I’ve also tried various ABS and PLA, hatchbox and also cheap filament from ebay, they’re all fine. Also tried nylon but used the wrong temperature and made a big mess. As Roman said most don’t fit into the printer (which is a shame because it takes even more space). I haven’t tried flexible yet… for some reason they don’t recommend using flexible materials with the old extruder type.

We’ve used 14 of our materials with the Cubicon Single and Style

Does PLA pop off the surface as easy as ABS when cooled?

Absolutely! I’ve only ever had an adhesion issue once with ASA because we set the bed temp to 120 by accident.
Do you have a Cubicon?

I do, and was thinking of buying some PLA. I just don’t want to ruin the plate by scraping it, as it works beautifully with ABS. Has your PLA popped right off the bed after cooling?

Hi everyone…

Since the Cubicon community is close not existent, I thought it might be good to create a topic where Cubicon users share their print settings for various filament types, brands, colours, etc.

Basically share what filament you’ve used, what temperature settings worked best, etc.

Please contribute!

Hi, u work with the cubicon style? I printed abs, pla, tpu (flexibel fillament), woodfill and corkfill with the style. I have some settings for the woodfill. If u want or need I will send them to you…

Don’t scrape the bed of your cubicon!!! When it cools down most of the prints come off very easy…

You can print PC with the CS?

What PC are you using?
