My Finder started grinding after it starts printing then the print is offset because it didn’t move correctly. You can hear it towards the end of this video

Is it doing it just in the back corner, and does it do it every print?

A similar problem has happened to me a few times on different Finders and also on my Creator Pro. It turned out that the gantry was not square causing the stepper to grinder only in that same corner. I had to use 2 blocks that are equal length to square the rails on the Y axis (front and back), worked just fine. A few other I know have just grabbed the rails and twisted until square (I don’t recommend doing that though).

You should be able to freely move the axis any where on the build platform, try turning off the printer, and moving the print axis to find where the noise comes from, then at those points, inspect the belts and rods.

Other thoughts

Make sure the rods are lubricated.

Make sure the belts are free of debris and not hitting something, some belts have metal clips that can cause issues.

Make sure the print head is free of obsticals on the sides

Make sure the filament feed is not causing the pritn head not to move properly.

Let us know what you find out.

Looks to me like another symptom of bad wire harness. These printers are notorious for containing cheap wires that flex and break prematurely.

try Jeremy’s suggestions bellow. Although if everything was working fine just before this happened, and you don’t remember physically moving the gantry, then I’m betting it’s the stepper motor wire harnesses (check wire continuity if you have a multimeter and know how to use it to check stepper motor wire continuity).

Let us know how it goes.
