Well I broke one of the hooks on my push mower catcher and I didn’t want to replace the entire for $40. Any ideas how to replace a broken part - I know. Lets 3D print it!

The hooks are located on the bottom of the catcher bag and go over the top of a metal lug.(seen below in grey)

My plan is to use heavy duty double sided tape to stick them into place. The hooks go over the top of the lugs to hold the catcher in place.

I just sent the order request to a local Hub @maesconsulting and used a $10 gift voucher i received for submitting a 3D printing Instructable. This meant my 3D Print was FREE. How good is that!

Next time you break something at home, don’t buy a new part, have a go at replicating it on your pc and get it 3D printed.

Nice one, Ashley  You could also share the file, so that other people can use it.

Exactly … every time something breaks the first thought should be - “how can 3D printing help?” Thanks for sharing

It is a very specific and unique part, I don’t think anybody would use this but I don’t know we could share files. Nice! I can certainly add it if anyone is interested.

Fair enough! And yes, you can share files, especially these type of ‘life hacks’, which can help others as well. Thanks, Ashley
