Hello Everyone,

I recently bought a witbox 1 and I have got an issue when I try to adjust the level plate.

With the witbox there is 4 control points

- 3 that you can adjust.

- 1 final in the middle (you can t adjust)

So when i try to configure my Witbox the 3 adjusting points are good and the control is not. ( See file attached)

What could it be ? Is there a solution ? Does anyone have a similar issue ?

Thank you by advance

When you say that the fourth control point isn’t good, what’s the specific issue? Is it too high in the middle, or too low?

The Witbox has a super-thick glass plate, have you added anything to the top of it? (BuildTak, excessive glue, etc.)

Hello Coverville,

Thank you for your answer. The fourth control point is too close to the plate compared to the other 3 points which are well placed.
I always clean the glass plate after 2 or 3 utilisations. And i didn t add anything on top of it.

Is it possible that my glass plate isn’t straight ?

The seller told me it was specific to witbox… the nozzle/printing part would be heavy and this weight low the nozzle at the center of the plate. I have some dofficulties to trust him (buyer/seller relationship)^^

Well, it’s certainly possible - it’s a very large print area, and the bar that goes across could lower by a mm or two when the print nozzle is at the center of it.

I actually have been noticing a similar issue with mine in the last couple days, but I’ve been trying Fleks3D plates, and I was chalking the problem up to those not being as level.

Your best bet is to use 2 sheets (or more?) to do the outer 3 level points, and see if that makes the fourth one better. All your printing will utilize the center point, and not use the outer points as much, so it’s most important that the center point is accurate.
