Hey guys, have you been experiencing the same thing?

Whenever I cancel a print over the computer by clicking “cancel” , the Beethesoft simply stops working and what is even more interesting that it basically cannot be closed anymore unless I restart the computer (not even the task manager helps anymore).

I get this window:

I am obviously running windows and haven’t tried with Mac. I wonder if it’s the same for you guys? Or maybe there is a solution :?

Cheers,

Arnoldas

Hi,

we do not have this error. We do experiance a similar window sometimes. It is a white window with nothing on it, but if you press the right mousebuitton and blindly try to tilt the building area, it restores the normal view.

I think you should check if you run the the latest java-version.

best, Gunther

Hi Arnoldas.,
It’s strange! I’ve been having some issues with the “cancel” also, but not like that. BEEVERYCREATIVE’s Customer Service told me they will have a new BEESOFT release update pretty soon, and this update fixes the “cancel” situation reported.

I phrased it a little badly - The BEESOFT crashes, instead of the Beethefirst. really looking forward to the software update!

Arnoldas,

Can you tell me what version of BEESOFT you are using?

You are using Windows, what version? 8, 8.1? 64 bits? Is windows up to date with system patches?

BEESOFT uses JAVA, and sometimes, the problem isn’t exactly BEESOFT, but the JAVA machine is working (as in, it’s in the task manager), and BEESOFT won’t run well due to some bugs, on either end.

Wen you have the bug you mention, check in the task manager if you have a “javaw.exe*32”, and terminate it. It should allow you to run BEESOFT again, without a restart. (also check for "beesoft.exe*32)

And don’t forget, you can contact customer service, for help. There are BETA versions of BEESOFT that you can ask for, that corrects some problems people encounter. But, remember, it’s a BETA version. Other problems can happen

Best regards

It’s 3.10.3 version and indeed it was Java’s fault. In the task manage I have found an active Javaw.exe on the task manager and it solved it! Looking forward to the update. The printer is performing really strong!

It was a pleasure to help out. And glad it worked

BEETHEFIRST was. literally, open box, connect cables, install BEESOFT, load filament, calibrate, and print away
