hey guys,

so during the install of the micro swiss all metal hot end i accidentally torn one of the thermocouple cables causing the printer to overheat to about 700c before I yanked the power. I’ve since replaced it and rewired it back to the board. However, when I try to turn it on the overheat light is on constantly and the cooling fan for that extruder comes on. I’m assume the board is stuck in safety mode or is permanently damaged, is there a way to test this? or to reset the board? It powers on normally connects to my computer normally but after a few second goes into tool 1 failure mode and says to shut it down or restart it. I’ve reset it manually and with the board reset button. Is there a way to diagnose this?

STOP. Do not turn that printer on again…
